Easyriders

Easyriders is a social cycling group - we don't go too far and we don't go too fast. Our rides are about 25 miles long on quiet West Oxfordshire country roads. We usually stop for a picnic or pub lunch. Some of us wear lycra, most don't (see below). Rides are on the 3rd Sunday of the month, normally starting at Chipping Norton Town Hall at 10.30am. We're an 'informal' group - we are self organised, have no fees, and have no group insurance. We advise regular riders to join the CTC (see link below) which incorporates 3rd party insurance among other benefits.

So - the first ride for 2010 will be Sunday 21st March, starting at Chippy town hall at 10.30am.  Jill will lead us on a gentle (!?) ride of about 20 miles.  We'll go out via Little Rollright and Long Compton before a coffee break in Moreton, then returning to Chippy via Kingham by 1 ish.

It would be good to get some offers to lead one of our monthly rides so that we can put together a programme.  Following the successful debut last year (see pics later) John and Yvonne are proposing another 'camping and caravaning' weekend away for 14 -16 May, staying at a posh site at Little Tarrington near Ledbury.  Rides on Saturday and Sunday will go direct from the site taking in fruit orchards, hop yards, pub stops with a meal out on Saturday night.  It's £23.50 per unit (tent/ van/ ?) or less for Camping and Caravan Club members.  Please let Yvonne know on yvonne@stow10.plus.com by 30 April if interested, or call us on 01608 642667.
