Talking Pages Book Group

Talking Pages is a book club which gives you a chance to meet, to exchange views and recommendations, and to generally have fun with books. We are a friendly and lively group who discuss a wide variety of reading material from classics to contemporary, from fiction to factual.

The group was started in spring 2004. Brenda Read-Brown came in to maintain order and keep things running – initially for the first three months, but she enjoyed herself so much she stayed for over 2 years! We now rotate among ourselves the job of leading the discussion.

We meet most months, usually in the barn, behind the restaurant in the Chequers pub, which is next door to the Theatre , between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
