The ACE Centre have links with a German College and have a couple of students on work-placement each year. They have been asked by one of the course tutors if it is possible to advertise the attached on behalf of Natalie who is looking for au pair work.
My name is Natalie Deck and I am 19 years old. I was born in Kasachstan and I have lived in Germany for four years. During this time I have applied myself busily to learn the language and I have a good command of written and spoken German. I have learned English for more than three years at school. I am attending a two-year vocational course in social pedagogy and I hope to graduate in summer.
After my graduation I’d like to work as an au pair in England. I have always liked the country and wanted to spend some time there to improve my knowledge of English. Since I am oriented on social pedagogy I have already completed a work placement in a kindergarten and enjoyed working with the children a lot. This is why I’d like to go to England and work there with a family. This way, two of my wishes would be fulfilled. I would be in England and would be working for a family with children.
In my free time I like reading books and I am learning to play the guitar. My favourite school subjects are maths, chemistry and art.
