Sophie Thompson transforms farmyard scrap metal into wonderful works of art. She sculpts animals and birds from scythes, chains and discarded farm machinery. Since graduating from Exeter College of Art in 1992 Sophie has been fascinated by animal forms and works hard at capturing their movement and character. Her work sells all over the world and recently, one of her full-sized horses was used in the film, Lady Godiva.
