Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust
(OBMH) provides specialist mental health services to people in Oxfordshire,
Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties and highly specialist
services to patients from across the UK. Most people we care for are
referred to our services by their GP (family doctor). Services are
provided for adults of working age, older adults, children and
adolescents.
Oxfordshire Mind in Chipping Norton aims to promote an informal,
non-judgemental atmosphere where users of the service can gain support.
There is a computer available, newspapers, games and table tennis, and
lunch is a much-enjoyed part of the day. There is a tradition of doing
some kind of art work (sometimes music sessions) and the centre has excellent
links with Ithaca. Trips and outings are arranged about every six weeks
and the centre also participates in community events such as the flower
festival.
