Which airport?

There ia a choice of airports to consider if travelling by air to or from Chipping Norton.  It's a matter of doing the research on flight availaibility and costs (which vary enormously between carriers), and balancing this against the pain and cost of the overland connections, and parking fees if you're planning to leave a car at an airport. The following airports are within reasonable reach:

• Birmingham International - drive, or train from Banbury - railway journey takes about 40 minutes and the train station is at the airport
• Coventry - drive, or train from Banbury followed by taxi to airport, which is about 3 miles from the train station
• East Midlands - drive, or train from Banbury to Derby, then bus or taxi
• Heathrow - train from Kingham/Charlbury/Oxford to Reading, then RailAir coach; or express bus from Oxford
• Gatwick - train from Banbury, express bus from Oxford
• Luton - drive
• Southampton - train from Banbury or from Oxford
