This is the nearest rail station (about 4.5 miles from Chipping Norton) with services up to Hereford and down to London Paddington, via Charlbury, Oxford and Reading. Parking is charged. Bus services principally to Chipping Norton, Churchill, Bledington and Kingham village. There is no taxi rank at the station.
Next down the line to Oxford/London Paddington from Kingham. Served by bus. Parking is charged and this car park fills up early on workdays.
Some 13 miles to the north lies Banbury which has two particlularly useful lines - one running south through Oxford, Reading, Guildford, and Gatwick Airport to Brighton, the other running north up to Birmingham (separate earlier stop at Birmingham International Airport and the National Exhibition Centre) and onwards through the Midlands to Scotland. Banbury also offers an alternative rail route to London, at competitive fares, to Marylebone.
There is covered and supervised parking at the station's Tramway park which is less than 5 minutes walk from the ticket office.
